Fjällräven Triglav Adventure is an outdoor event hosted by Fjällräven to promote active way of life and encourage everybody to enjoy nature. It’s so impressing to see an outdoor clothes company that also focuses on socializing and introducing hiking to beginners, rather than just on numbers and sales.
Invitees were people from press, prize game winners and a few of us from Iglu Šport. The first day we camped in Ukanc, on beautiful lake Bohinj, with bbq, beers and campfire. The weather forecast didn’t look all that promising, nevertheless we started the hike from Pokljuka towards Kredarica lodge, early in the mourning. While our clothes were drying, Rok Zalokar from Vertical Adventures Slovenia had an inspiring lecture about his climbs that he did around the world. It was most definitely one of the best I have heard, hats off to Rok. On Sunday morning Triglav was still hidden behind clouds, and it was clear that we wont be able to enjoy the view that spreads all the way to Venice. Personally I don’t mind bad weather. Yes, it can be a bit harsh, but you still get to be outside with your friends, which is always awesome. Plus, it was so good to see many people from the group to summit Triglav for the first time and in bad weather.
Thanks to Matevž and Fjällräven for this great weekend!
I’ve been shooting Fuji X100F for a month now and it’s probably the best camera I have used for outdoors. It’s only 450 grams light and it basically fits in my pocket. I’m never houling a DSLR to the mountains ever again. Check out the photos 🙂
