Gjeravica (2656m) is the highest peak in Kosovo and it offers world class freeride and touring experience. Its slopes are way off the beaten paths from conventional European skiing.
Obviously, such place has no internet and no cellphone signal which totally switched us out from the maddness of this world and forced us to focus only on skiing. The operation is run by Lynx Freeride from a cozy mountain hut located at 1700m above sea level. They have two Pistenbully 300 cats that keep taking you up the mountain for the whole day. During the 6 days on the mountain we have skied about 20 vertical kilometers of untouched terrain and 90% of which was powder.
All in all, it has been a truly unforgettable experience in the mountains. Check out some of my photos made on Fujifilm X100F.
