Welcome

June, 2011.

I joined Daniel Lacko on a memorable journey through Croatia that we called Welcome. The goal was simple: explore the country in an authentic way.

Daniel chose a unique travel method. He avoided motorized transport and relied on his own power to get around, using a GPS to track his route. The path he took spelled out “Welcome” across Croatia, leading us through small towns, quiet backroads, and beautiful coastal trails. It was a hands-on way to truly experience the country.

During our adventure, we met friendly locals, enjoyed stunning sea views, and uncovered parts of Croatia that often get missed. The photos I took capture these genuine moments, everyday experiences that made the trip special.
